The service, plainly

Personal, not personalised-adjacent

Print sits on the surface. An engraved name is cut into the thing itself — it's in the material, it deepens with handling, and it can't peel off in a drawer six months later.

We engrave our own products and suitable items from elsewhere: heirloom pens, a partner's favourite journal, a keepsake box that needs a date. If it can hold still under the machine, we'll look at it.

How it runs

How personalising works

Five minutes of your input, two days of our machine time.

Step 01

Pick the piece

One of ours or one of yours — either way, we check it takes a clean cut first.

Step 02

Write the text

Up to ~20 characters reads best on a barrel. Dates in numerals or words — your call.

Step 03

Approve the mock-up

We photograph a test layout at actual size so there are no font surprises.

Step 04

The cut

Engraved on our machine under the lamp — depth checked by fingertip, not just eye.

Step 05

Wrap and card

Kraft box, ribbon, hand-lettered card with your message.

Step 06

Ship

48-hour dispatch standard; same-week rush possible if you ask nicely.

FAQ

Engraving questions

More questions? The contact form reaches us within the hour on workdays.

Thin lacquer, very hard chrome, and anything hollow-backed under 1mm. Send a photo — we'll give you a straight yes or no before anything ships.

For a premium fee, yes — we've cut a late father's signature onto a keepsake box before. It's delicate work; we'll talk through whether it suits the piece.

Not at our depths — we cut microns, not millimetres. Barrels under 2mm wall thickness get shallow cuts or a plate instead.

The cut takes two minutes. The setup, alignment and check take twenty — that's the part a shopping-mall kiosk skips.

Engraved ready-mades: December 15. Custom pieces: early November, honestly. We'll post the real cutoff on the site closer to the date.

Get it engraved

Tell us the item and the text — we'll send a mock-up photo within the day. If it won't cut cleanly, you'll hear that instead of a bad surprise.
