A gift that outlasts the card

Candles get burned, wine gets drunk. A pen with someone's name cut into it gets kept — we've heard from recipients still using theirs five years on. That's the entire business case for this service.

Sets come boxed in recycled kraft with a hand-lettered card (yes, actually hand-lettered — Sarah does them). Engraving is cut on our own machine, so a name added on Tuesday ships Thursday.

Birthday, wedding, retirement, thank-you — and the date. Deadlines drive everything here.

Step 02

Pick the set

We suggest sets inside your budget and show real photos of what's on the shelf.

Step 03

Personalise it

Name, date or a short phrase engraved — up to about 20 characters looks best on a barrel.

Step 04

The card

Send us your message; Sarah letters it by hand onto the gift card. Free, always.

Step 05

Wrap and check

Kraft box, ribbon, a last check of the engraving under the lamp.

Step 06

Ship or collect

Direct to the recipient or to you for the handover. Tracked, flat $12.

Engraved items ship in 48 hours. Custom commissions need 2–3 weeks — if the deadline is tight, an engraved ready-made pen is the honest answer.

Usually, yes — post it in or drop by. A few barrel shapes and lacquered finishes won't take the machine cleanly; send a photo and we'll confirm.

Initials and dates age best. Long quotes crowd a barrel — we'll show you a mock-up of the text at actual size before cutting.

Constantly. Add their address in the brief — no invoice or pricing goes in the box, and the hand-lettered card carries your message, not ours.

Wedding favours and corporate gifting runs of 10–100+ are regular work — corporate page covers volume pricing.
